The Pioneer
The Pioneer, a news magazine moderated by English teacher, Mr. Joseph Adair, features articles by Walsh Jesuit students. In addition, a team of student editors produces the publication. The Pioneer, is online, which provides the depth, accessibility, and interaction of contemporary publications.
The Pioneer has earned numerous awards from The American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) and the Northeast Ohio Scholastic Press Association (NOSPA). In addition, the journalism club is a member of the Ohio Scholastic Media Association (OSMA), as it attends conferences and competes on an annual basis.
